Abstract
the biggest difference between Windows Vista and Windows XP, the main memory and video requirements. Windows XP will run with 128 MB graphics card and 1 GB of RAM. Ironically, this should regard as the minimum needed to install Windows Vista.
Windows Vista is much more graphic intensive than Windows XP a better experience and rich media. Course, this requirement increases the cost of the hardware for Windows Vista. For those who prefer before video-RAM media creator and PC gamers due to additional costs.
If you have a number of items from other computers, reading, or you have run to know that I never recommend that the hardware requirements are lower as advertised. If you read the words “minimum requirements” is the minimum, what you get. Every time update on your PC meets the recommended minimum requirements result is always disappointing.
In that sense, my recommendation is to install Windows Vista as follows.
Feature
* 2 GHz, 64-bit or Duel Core processor (Intel Core Duo or AMD X2 for gaming)
* 2 GB, RAM matching system
* 256 MB ATI or nVidia graphics card (not supplied on board)
* Required 40 GB hard drive (15 GB of disk space to install Vista)
* CD-DVD-ROM
* other hardware should be clear.
Note that the video is integrated on the motherboard is not recommended. Integrated video uses system RAM, which robs your system resources and increases the required memory. There are also add-on video card uses system RAM, and has a small memory itself. When purchasing add-on card, carefully read the specifications.
Windows Vista running smoothly on your PC with this recommendation, most users only need to upgrade your video card and system RAM to add. Windows Vista supports most of the same hardware that supports Windows XP. Motherboard, Modem, Ethernet, hard drive, and the hardware of the most common are not currently support.
